Our story began 8 years ago when a beach side rental property that was infested with black mould became the source of many illnesses in our family. For many years we were unable to escape mould- infected rental homes, and developed symptoms such as extreme fatigue, chest infections and brain fog, eventually being diagnosed with CIRS (Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome.) After five years in three different rental houses, we purchased our own property, but the mould problem resurfaced. Using chemicals such as bleach and natural solutions like tea tree oil and vinegar were a temporary treatment as the mould would resurface in a few days.

On discovering that the ply walls of our makeshift home were infected with mould, the only solution in our eyes was to completely renovate the house, gutting it from the inside out to completely eradicate the problem. During this time, we were forced to rent once again and the whole exercise left us with $30,000 out of pocket.

When researching ways for a safe solution to protect our house from it happening again, we heard about Xspor and realised that this was exactly what we have needed for so many years. As a family we were so interested in the Xspor product and services that we could not resist the urge to become involved.

As a result of our own personal experiences with mould, we are both passionate and knowledgeable about safe and natural remediation.

Now, our journey as a family will involve eliminating mould and helping other families so they don’t end up wasting thousands of dollars and years of good health.
